George was an avid fisherman and hunter. If you were a friend he might sit down and whittle you a bass plug from the end of a mop handle. Being able to travel the world allowed George to fish the Rhine River and hunt the Schwarzwald (German Black Forest).
In his work, George risked his life catching Russian and East German spies. He was also instrumental in combating mob activities in NY and Miami for the Internal Revenue Internal Securities Division.
George was a good father and played a large role in both Mike's and Danny's lives. He was a large man and had played semi-pro football before entering military service.
After retirement, George started and ran several successful businesses. His sharp wit and sense of humor is missed.
