Funeral services for Harold Leroy Gaede, 81, of Cleo Springs, will be held at the Saron Mennonite Church in Orienta, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the North Mennonite Brethren Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Harold Leroy Gaede was born on September 4, 1937 to Herbert Earl and Martha Jean (Schroeder) Gaede and passed from this life, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Harold grew up on the family farm near Fairview and attended school there graduating from high school in 1956. Shortly after high school he joined the United States Air Force and after serving his tour of duty he was Honorable Discharged.

Besides his family, Harold had one true love in his life and that was for cars. In 1957 he purchased his first car, it was a 1940 Ford Coupe that he still owns today. He truly liked the 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevys. For many years he was a member of the Playboy Car Club in Enid.

Left to cherish Harold’s memory is his brother Glenn Gaede and wife Betty of Enid, and his sister Shirley Shirley and husband Kent of Cleo Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
