Mrs. Mary D. E. Cannon, wife of William H. Cannon, died at her home at Yellow Springs, at 9.15 o'clock this morning, after an illness of two years. She was aged 76 years and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Reformed church. She was a daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth Caler Crabbs. She Is survived by the following sons and daughters: David S. Cannon, Clayton L. Cannon, Miss Matilda L. Cannon, all of Yellow Springs; Irving V. Cannon, Frederick; Roy A. Cannon, Baltimore; Charles B. Cannon, Frederick; Mrs. Alonzo Specht, Shookstown;, Garel C. Cannon, Yellow Springs; one brother, Vincent Crabbs, Yellow Springs; and one sister, Mrs. George R. Stone, Frederick; 29 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the funeral home of M. B. Etchison and Son, North Market street, and prepared for burial, and will be taken to the deceased's home Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Funeral Monday morning at 10.30 o'clock from the Pleasant Hill Reformed chapel. Interment in the cemetery adjoining the church.
