Eugene J. "Spike" Kledzik, 74, of Dean Avenue, passed away Monday, February 10, 1997 in Villa North Nursing Home. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Coast Guard and was a member of Disabled American Veterans #27 and Baker-Stengle Post of the VFW. Eugene worked for many years at Modern Pattern and retired in 1985 from Jeep Corporation. He was also a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Olga; a son; a grandson; brothers, Norman (Corrine) Kledzik and Ralph Kledzik; and sister, Marcie Suska.

Friends are invited to visit from 3-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, where the Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Prayers will be recited at 9:20 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Interment in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
