Ralph C. Carpenter, 82, of 1534 Wildwood Rd., retired architect, died Friday in St. Vincent Hospital.
He was associated with the firm of Richards, Bauer, & Moorhead for 20 years, retiring in 1969.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the South Side Post, American Legion, and a bugler many years with the Lucas County Burial Corps.
Surviving are his wife, Edna, and daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Cairl.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday in the Coyle Mortuary, Broadway, and American Legion services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The body will be in the mortuary after 2 p.m. Sunday. The family requests that any tributes be in the form of contributions to the church building fund.
