CAROL THUSS
(1936 - 2005)
Carol Thuss, age 69, a resident of 847 River Bluff Drive, Manitowoc, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 27, 2005, at River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center.
It was Carol's wishes to be cremated with no visitation or funeral services.
Carol was born on May 21, 1936 in Sturgeon Bay, and was the child of William and Clarinda Lunn Dix. She graduated from high school in Sturgeon Bay, and later completed beautician school in Green Bay. She married Jerome Thuss on Nov. 5, 1965 in Manitowoc. Carol enjoyed camping at Little Silver Lake near Wild Rose, and especially spending time with family and all her grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her husband: Jerome Thuss; two sons: Dayn (Stacey) Meisner and Eric (Pam) Meisner; three daughters: Michelle (Brian) Hilley, Marla (Roger) Hanson and Melissa Thuss and her special friend, Kevin LaCrosse; three stepchildren: Debbie (Jim) Ackley, Jeff Thuss and Mary McClanaghan; a brother: Cecil Surfus; four sisters: Janet Pfile, June (Ray) Haack, Grace Surfus and Sue (Dennis) Nitshke; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren: also other nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Clarinda; and a son: Jeffrey Jay Meisner.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, is assisting the family with arrangements.
