JETER SERVICES SLATED MONDAY

Ira Edward Jeter, 64, Broken Bow, died Thursday in McCurtain Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born Feb. 29, 1920 in Broken Bow and had lived there all his life.

He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Broken Bow. He was director of maintenance of Lukfata Public Schools.

Jeter and Marie Martin were married March 14, 1942 in Broken Bow.

He is survived by his wafe, Marie; two sons, Larry Jeter of Concord, Ca., and Roy Jeter of Rialto, Ca.; one daughter, Jeanne Bland of Hesperia, Ca.; one sister, Laflora Harr of Broken Bow; one brother, Clarence Jacobs of Colton, Ore.; and eight grandchildren.

Services are set at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Assembly of God Church of Broken Bow with the Rev. Don Ransey officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery under direction of Nation Funeral Home of Broken Bow.
