CRAMERTON - Ossie Mae Davenport Hinkle, 84, of Cramerton passed away Thursday, February 4, 1999. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Ira and Nannie Faires Davenport. She was retired as a cafeteria manager with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School Systems and was a member of Cramer Memorial United Methodist Church in Cramerton.
Survivors include 4 sons, Lamar Hinkle of Mooresville, Mike Hinkle of Charlotte, Randy Hinkle of Iron Station and Jimmy Hinkle of Cramerton; 5 grandchildren, Scott Hinkle of Mooresville, Cristy Barnhardt of Concord, Lisa Paul of Lexington, Ashley Hinkle of Iowa City, Iowa, Elizabeth Hinkle of Iron Station; 2 great grandchildren, Michael Barnhardt and Brandon Paul.
Graveside service will be 2 PM Friday at Mt. Holly Cemetery with Rev. Laura Hubbard officiating. Memorials may be made to Cramer Memorial United Methodist Church, 154 N. Main St., Cramerton, NC 28032 or to the charity of the donors choice. Carothers Funeral Home Mt. Holly is in charge.
