Mrs. Stafford was born in Hollis, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for 53 years. She worked in a laundry, as a lens grinder for an optical company and was a homemaker. She married William Nathan Stafford on April 5, 1939, at Vincent, Okla. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Stafford, in 1996.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Bill Williams of Amarillo, and Judy and Earl Snead of Hendersonville, Tenn.; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Stafford of Orange County, Calif.; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
