Elmer Cummings
Elmer Cummings, a life long resident of this vicinity, passed away at the Clearfield hospital on Monday December 8, after an illness of several months. Mr. Cummings was born Oct. 3, 1860, being past 70 years of age at his demise. Mrs. Cummings preceded him in death four years ago, and a daughter Ethel passed away last April. He is survived by seven children, namely, Carrie of California, Mont. of East Brady, Melvin and reba of Surton, Mildred of Franklin, Mary of Akron, Ohio and Geraldine of Polk.
Funeral services were held at his home on Thursday afternoon. Rev. A.W. Wright officiated and interment was made in the family plot in Pisgah cemetery. The Masonic Order were present and paid their tribute to Mr. Cummings.
