Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Rocco and Julia (Adams) Memole Sr. and was a resident of the Capital Region all of his life. He was a veteran of World War II and was a mail handler for the U.S. Post Office for over 33 years, retiring in 1992. Simultaneously, Rocco worked as a warehouse worker for Montgomery Wards for 25 years until 1987 when they closed. Rocco was also a proud member of the American Legion for 61 years.
Rocco was the beloved husband of 54 years to Margaret (Hopkins) Memole; devoted father of Mary Ellen (Joseph) Kutey of Glenmont, Maureen (Frank) Campione of Colonie, Joseph R. Memole of Glenmont and Robert T. Memole of East Greenbush; brother of Martha Tierney of Delmar, Alfred Memole of East Greenbush and the late Vincent T. and Joseph Memole; proud grandfather of Ashley Campione. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
