She was an active assistant at the Sportsman's Hotel in Renovo for the past 48 years, and enjoyed her friends and companions. She was a kind and gentle lady, loved and respected by everyone she met.
She also worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad shops during World War II.
She was united in marriage May 20, 1944 to Francis T. "Wimpy" Marino, who preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1979. She was also preceded in death in June of 1979 by a granddaughter, Nicole Francis Rooney.
