He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church, and the Masonic Lodge both of Ringgold, GA and The American Legion. He was Pre deceased by his wife of 59 years Dortha L. Cain. Survivors include: Daughters: Mary Ann Chenette, Ocala, FL; Linda Sue Cain, Ocala, FL. Grandson: Jason Easter. Granddaughter: Victoria Ann Reynolds. Great Grandchildren: Hillary Osteen and Wyatt Reynolds. Brother: Ralph Cain. Donations may be made to The American Legion Post # 27 at 516 N.E.
