Forrest Spencer Thompson, 85, died May 6, 1991 in Salt Lake City.
Born February 19, 1906 in Vernal, Utah to John and Maude Serene Roundy Thompson. Married Edith West August 23, 1928 in Salt Lake City; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 6, 1963. She died July 6, 1963. He was a member of the High Priest group, Holladay 4th Ward. He was foreman for Continental Bakery for 30 years. He was involved in landscape gardening for 25 years. He was a crossing guard for Holladay Elementary school for eight years.

Survived by his children, Forrest G. (Jerry) and wife Fonda Thompson, Sandy; LaVon Knight and husband Clifton Stillman, Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Harper, Los angeles, California; Jeanne Hogan, Temple City, California; and Lilly Lilbert, Cardston, Alberta,Canada.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 9, 1991, 12 noon in the Holladay 4th Ward, 4917 South Viewmont, (2200 East). Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, and Thursday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Mt. View Memorial Estates.
