Frances Edith Williams Buzzo, 88, of 1420 Franklin Street, Bluefield died Thursday June 11, 2009 in a Princeton hospital. Born June 16, 1920 in Bluefield, WV she was a daughter of the late Charles C. and Lura E. Williams.
Mrs. Buzzo was a life-long resident of Bluefield and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Nicola "Nick" Buzzo; one daughter, Donna Marie White; one great-grandson, Ethan Glenn; and brothers and sisters, Lola Daniely, Edna Doss, Pauline Ratliff and Charles Ed Williams.
Survivors include three sons, James R. Buzzo and his wife Serena of Richmond, VA, Bob Buzzo and his wife Cathy of Bluefield, VA and Larry Buzzo and his wife Sharon of Peterstown, WV; one son-in-law, Ronnie White of Ridgeville, SC; grandchildren, Craig Blevins, Nicole Glenn, April Brant, Melissa Gates, Angela Gess, Jennifer Gillespie, Kerri White, Troy Broyles, Michelle Campbell, Danielle Buzzo; and numerous great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, June 14, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday June 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Father Paul Wharton officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family members will serve as pallbearers.
