HAUGHT, Jacob Andrew "Jake," 75, of Upper Run Road, Pine Grove, died Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Wheeling Medical Park.

He was a Methodist by faith. He was in the United States Air Force. He retired from Conalco in 1996 with over 39 years of service. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #81 in Pine Grove.

He was born on November 16, 1934 in Pine Grove, W.Va., the son of the late Jacob R. and Gladys M. (Sherwood) Haught.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Louise Haught (1-21-02), a grandson, James Ryan Tennant, a brother, Glen Haught, and a sister, Mary Broadwater.

Surviving is a son, Matt (Kim) Haught of Jacksonburg, four daughters, Corinna (Jim) Tennant of Reader; Carma (Alphus) Wyatt of Jacksonburg; Rebecca Haught of Fairmont and Regina (Joe) Carlin of Jacksonburg, seven grandchildren, Lee Snodgrass, Ali Haught, Tiffany Tennant, Andrew and Rachel Wyatt, Kalee and Tucker Cain, two brothers, Bob Haught of Pine Grove and Kenny Haught of St. Albans, a special friend, Betty Adams, several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m. on Tuesday at Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove, W.Va., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Greg Morris officiating. A full graveside military service will take place at the place of interment, Knights of Pythas Cemetery in Hastings, compliments of the Sistersville VFW #6327 and the American Legion Post # 67 in Sistersville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Acres Christian Haven, Route 9, Box 212, Fairmont, W.Va., 26554.
