Anna M. Abresky, age 96, of West Haven, formerly of Bridgeport, died on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the widow of William Abresky. Born in Bridgeport, she had been a lifelong resident prior to moving to West Haven two years ago. She is survived by her beloved granddaughter with whom she lived, Sharon Jones and her husband, Ron; two grandsons, Kenneth Abresky and Scott Abresky; eight great-grandchildren, Joseph, Jennifer and Ryan Jones and Rachel, William, Eric, Amy and Allison Abresky; and several nieces and nephews. She had been predeceased by her son William Abresky and his wife, Marilyn. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 10 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford.
