Sandra R. Pankratz age 70 of 1010 S. 39th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday evening, August 29, 2013 at her residence following a brief illness.
Sandra was born February 7, 1943 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Olson) Fricke.
She attended schools in Manitowoc.
On September 12, 1968 Sandra was married to Robert Pankratz in Manitowoc.
Sandra had worked at Shopko and retired from the Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County. After her retirement Sandra volunteered at the Aurora Medical Center gift shop.
Survivors include her husband: Robert D. Pankratz, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law: Keith (Shawn) Teuke, Two Rivers; Michael (Donna) Pankratz, Franklin; two daughters and sons-in-law: Heidi (Neil) Bartelme, Bloomington, MN; Terri (Brian) Riesner, Oak Creek; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Dennis (Donna) Fricke, Almagorodo, NM; Larry (Ruth) Fricke, Manitowoc; one sister: Jolene Wellner, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph (Alice) Fricke and one brother-in-law: Dick Wellner.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel, 1500 Hwy 310, Manitowoc. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with entombment of her cremated remains at the Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the Knollwood Chapel on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
