BROOKS, Janet - Of Grand Blanc, age 64, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Reverend Patricia Jarvis officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 5-8pm Friday and 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Janet was born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 25, 1954, the daughter of Lee Sr. and Frances (Brazen) Johnson. Janet was the first female president of the Waterford Jaycees. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, camping, sewing, genealogy, crafting and attended Christ United Methodist Church.

Surviving are husband, Ron; children, Aimee and husband Mark Hansen and Cristeen and husband Andy Heise; step-children, Ronald III and wife Bridget Brooks and Stephanie and husband Dan Taylor; grandchildren, Trisha, Travis, Talon, Kendal, Mea, Peyton, Sydney, NaTasha, Zoey, Tyler, Ryan, Haylee, Jaxson, Brandon, Delaney, Christian and Brooke;
great-grandchildren, Karter; brother, Don Mabbitt; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lee and sister, Barb.
