A World War II U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Alix received the World War II Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal and American Campaign Medal.
He had been the owner of several NAPA auto parts stores prior to his retirement.
He leaves his wife, Hilda (Sylvia) Alix; one daughter, Barbara Trongone of Pembroke and her husband Robert; three grandsons, Gary, Randy and Marc Trongone; and seven great-grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Ryan, Madison, Gabrielle, Emily and Lauren.
