Michael J. Oehlke, age 51, of 2413-14th St., Two Rivers, died Sunday morning, Oct. 27, 2002 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002 at The Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. William O'Brien.

Michael was born Feb. 23, 1951 in Kewuanee, son of the late Roy and Violet Zieman Oehlke. He attended Roncalli High School graduating with the class of 1969. On July 19, 1998 he married the former Janette L. Krecioch in Two Rivers. Michael was employed for more than 25 years at the Manitowoc Company, Crane Division retiring in 2000 due to health reasons.

He was a member of the I.A.M. Machinist Union, Two Rivers Knights of Columbus and an avid motorcycle and wolf enthusiast.

Survivors include his wife: Janette Oehlke, Two Rivers; one daughter: Sgt. Heather Oehlke and her son, Isaiah, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; one son: Michael Oehlke Jr., Two Rivers; one stepdaughter: Stacey and Matt Zielinski, Appleton; two stepsons: Troy Oehlke and his children, Donovan, Kalli and Katira, Milwaukee; J.J. McDonald and his sons: Devon and Liam, Michigan; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Bernadette and Gerald Peterik, Ankeny, Iowa; Theresa and Michael Recha, Collins; Janice and Roger Pingel, Cato; one brother and sister-in-law: Roy and Michelle Oehlke, Two Rivers. Michael is further survived by two sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law: Frances and Thomas McBath, Two Rivers; Patricia and Steve White, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Michael Krecioch, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Leslie Untiedt, Davenport, Iowa; and all of his special nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Besides his parents, Michael was preceded in death by one sister-in-law: Michelle Untiedt.

The family will greet relatives and friends from noon Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002 until the time of service at 5 p.m. at The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers.
