LAWRENCE G. PIESCHEL
(1946 - 2001)
Lawrence G. Pieschel, age 55, of 3814 W. Marshall St., Manitowoc, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family at 4:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Robert Drobka with cremation to follow.
He was born Oct. 8, 1946, in Manitowoc, son of Joseph Archambault and the late June Heideman Archambault. Larry was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1965. On Dec. 13, 1969, he married the former Vicky Cavanaugh in Manitowoc. Larry was employed at The Kohler Company for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky Pieschel, Manitowoc; three daughters and a son-in-law, Tracie Pieschel and Scott Havel, Shannon Pieschel and her special friend, Ryan Groh, Lori Pieschel, all of Manitowoc; four grandchildren, Shayla, Kaitlyn, Emily and Shakira; his father, Joseph Archambault, Manitowoc; four sisters and to brothers-in-law, Judy and Jim Janda, Two Rivers, Jane and Jerry Truettner, Manitowoc, Lois Pieschel, Luxemburg, Susan Pieschel, Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sue Pieschel, Sheboygan; two special friends, Mike Kennedy and Holly Sprang, both of Manitowoc and a special aunt, Donna Becker, Manitowoc. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Archambault.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 3 p.m Wednesday until the time of service at 7 p.m.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
