PATRICK H. THORNE
(1941 - 2002)

On Jan. 1, 2002, Patrick H. Thorne fell asleep in death (John 11:11). A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2002 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2717 45th St. Two Rivers. Douglas Sleger, a minister from the Two Rivers congregation will preside, cremation will have taken place.

Patrick was born March 17, 1941, in Whitewater, Wis., son of the late Ernest V. and Viola M. Bertram Thorne. He was graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School with the Class of 1959. On Jan. 21, 1961, he was married to Connie Kloss, in Two Rivers. Pat was employed for a short time at Formrite Tube Co. and also Mirro Alum. Co., followed by Eck Foundry where he worked for the past 35 years, until the present time. He loved to spend time at Tisler's Auto Salvage, known to him as "The Menchalville Mall."

Survivors include his wife Connie; his seven children, Tyrone and Susan Thorne, Manitowoc, Wade and Patty Thorne, Kellnersville, Theodore and Jan Thorne, Denmark, Wendy and John Orlopp, Francis Creek, Kristen and Steve Graczyk, Maribel, Timothy and Lisa Thorne, Little Chute, and Victoria and Paul Laurent, Menasha; 13 grandchildren, Amy (Stacy) Bahrke, Graham (Sharon) Dondlinger, Nick Dondlinger, Stephanie Thorne, Zach Thorne, Josh Frank, Kyle James Thorne, Easton and Tannor Orlopp, Matthew Graczyk, and Taya, Derrek and Lance Thorne; one great-grandchild, Elijah Bahrke. He is further survived by three brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles Thorne, Two Rivers, Don and Carol Thorne, Francis Creek, and Willis Thorne, Georgia; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Marie Kloss of Two Rivers; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law include, Steven (Ruth) Kloss, Mishicot, Mary Vasquez, Mark (Deb) Kloss all of Manitowoc, and Kathryn Kloss, and special friend, Andy Creeden of Republic, Mich.; special nieces, Sara McKee, Tara Humphery, Gina Cooper, and Jana Thorne, and special friends, Gay Thorne, and Annette Tonini, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. on Friday, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2717 45th St., Two Rivers.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in his name.

The Thorne family extends a sincere thank you to Dr.'s Yetter, Diaz, and Thayer, the entire staff of Aurora's Oncology Unit, and the I.C.U., and to Aurora Hospice for the excellent care and compassion given to Patrick. Pat's final orders to his wife of almost 41 years was that he be cremated and have a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Patrick was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by all.
