Lawrence F. Mix, age 57, died January 15, 2000, at El Dorado Hospital, Tucson, Ariz.

A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2000, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

Lawrence was born January 9, 1942, in Manitowoc, son of the late John F. and Inga J. Mix. Lawrence was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. He actively served in the United States Army for six years and was honorably discharged in December of 1966. He then began his 33 years career working as a civilian instructor for the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion for the United States Army where he retired from the faithful service on September 30, 1999.

Survivors include four daughters and two sons, Jennifer Mix, Arizona, Lisa Mix, Florida, Dora (Ben) Thompson, Virginia, Debbie (Dennis) Santana, New Jersey, Dennis (Ann) Mix, Florida, and Dan (Tracy) Mix, Virginia; ten grandchildren, Jessica, Anthony, D.J., Jason, Sarah, Johnny, Kristen, Benjamin, Caitlyn)Marie and Brandon. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister, John J. (Donna0 Mix, Dennis (Joan) Mix, ane Michelle (Dennis) Peters, all of Manitowoc; five nieces and nephews, Jeff (Anne) Mix, M4nchalville, Greg Mix, Randy Mix, Kim (Jake) Kortens, and Jamie Peters, all of Manitowoc; other relatives and friends.

Friends may call at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc on Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made ot the American Diabetes Association.
