Donald F. Rezek, age 62, of 9535 County Trunk K. Whitelaw, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 12, 2002 at his residence.

Donald’s wishes were to be cremated and to have no formal funeral services.

Donald was born Jan. 11, 1940 in the town of Gibson, Manitowoc County, son of Caroline Stueck Rezek Shimek and the late Tony Rezek. He attended schools in the town of Gibson and graduated from Mishicot High School in 1957. On Jan. 7, 1959 he joined the U.S. Army serving until March 8, 1962. Don worked for Fox Hill Resort and Conference Center in Mishicot since 1984. Don was an avid Packer fan, an outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting and playing cards, especially sheepshead.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Kirt (Paula) Rezek of Appleton; two daughters and one son-in-law: Kim Close of Two Rivers, and her special friend; Mike Baugniet: Jackie (Mark) Mraz of Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Justin, Autumn, Tyler, Devan, Nicholas and Collin; his mother: Caroline Shimek of Mishicot; his best friend and mother of his children: Karen Rezek of Whitelaw, and his dog: Sheba. He was preceded in death by his father: Tony Rezek; his brother: Delmar Rezek; and his stepfather: Louis Shimek.

The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville, assisted the Rezek family with arrangements.
