Ila was captain of her high school basketball team at Chidester High and her team was three time Ouachita County Champions and won the A.A.U. State Tournament in 1940. Ila married A.C. Williams on June 10, 1948 and they raised their two sons in Camden, AR. In 1975 A.C. retired from International Paper and the couple moved to a cabin they built on White Oak Lake where they lived the rest of their lives.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Roxie Holleman O'Keefe; husband, A.C. Williams; brother, Harland O'Keefe; sister, Helen Weaver.
She is survived by two sons, Don Williams and wife, Bonnie and Gary Williams and wife, Sondra; two granddaughters, Shae House and Summer Williams; three great-grandchildren.
