Anna Mae Baker passed away surrounded by her family in Shenandoah, Texas on July 15, 2019. She was born August 7, 1925 to Henry Augustus and Mary Madeline Hodnett Means in Thornton, Arkansas.

Anna is preceded in death by her loving husband Joe Baker, her parents, siblings Louise Edwards, Lee Bradford Means, and Evelyn Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter Cynthia O’Brien and husband Jerry, granddaughter Tiffany Iann Hewitt and husband Steve Anthony, step-grandson Jack O’Brien and wife Kari, great-grandson Hunter Lee Hewitt, step great-grandchildren MacKenna, Emma, and Jackson, siblings Ray Means and wife Betty, Robbie Perry, and Marilyn Hancock, sister-in-law Mary Means. Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Anna was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Trinity and the Westwood Shores Sunshine Club. She was known by her family and friends as a wonderful cook. Her pastimes included volunteering at the church, golfing, and playing bingo at the VFW. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.
