Virgil was a graduate of Spencer High School. He married the love of his life Bonnie Terrell on May 5, 1949 in Spencer, IN. Virgil retired from Allison General Motors after 41 years of service. He was a life-long member of the Church of the Nazarene in Spencer. He loved fishing, traveling, shopping with Bonnie and vacations. They traveled 48 states together.
Virgil is survived by his two daughters, Ronda Kinser and Pam Gregory (Mark) both of Spencer; three grandchildren Jodie Kinser (Tim), Aric Kinser (Emily) and LeAnne Kinser; sister Dorla Morley; seven great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Ford, parents, son-in-law Larry Kinser and grandson Brad Kinser.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at West and Parrish and Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 North Montgomery Street, Spencer, with Pastor David Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery.
