Marie E. Meyer, age 99, of 4705 W. Whitetail Court, Manitowoc, formerly of 1512 N. 23rd St., Manitowoc, went home to the Lord Thursday morning, March 9, 2006, at Whitetail Estates, Manitowoc.

Marie was born on Feb. 8, 1907, in Green Bay, daughter of the late John and Pauline Jahn Petrosky. On May 10, 1928, she married the late Apolonary Korlesky at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1977. Marie then married Conrad Meyer Sr. on Feb. 8, 1979, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He also preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1991. Marie was a member of the senior citizens of Manitowoc and CMAS of the former Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Marie was an avid gardener, winning garden of the month in August 1993. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and visiting with her friends.

Survivors include one daughter: Jane Marotz of Manitowoc; one son: James Korlesky of Lodi, and his fiancee: Pat Gile of Janesville; two stepdaughters: Mrs. Patricia Walker, California: Mrs. James (Luane) Kerski, Colorado; two stepsons: Conrad (Ruth) Meyer Jr., Two Rivers; Jon (Cheryl) Meyer, Appleton; three grandchildren: Cynthia Gallenberger, Annette Hagenow, Amy Drolet: 11 step-grandchildren: Robert Meyer, David Meyer, Julie Senn, Sarah Tyler and Erik Meyer, Cathy Lemarr, Mary Kerski, Diane Dicky, Joseph Kerski, Pam Walker, Wendy Walker; four great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; special friends: Delores and Donald Stefancic; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Marie was also preceded in death by one grandson: John Hagenow; a son-in-law: Robert Marotz: and two brothers and one sister.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall. Officiating at the memorial service will be the Rev. Tom Wojciechowski, O.F.M. Cremation will have taken place.

The family will greet relatives and friends at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall until the time of service at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would he appreciated to the American Lung Association.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Whitetail Estates, Holy Family Hospice and Holy Family Memorial Medical Center for their care and compassion shown towards Marie and her family.
