Ruth Ann Olson, age 58, of 2000 Johnston Drive, Manitowoc, died Sunday, May 14, 2006, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 7, 1948, in Newald, daughter of the late Basil and Effie (Eastman) Cunningham. On Nov. 6, 1965, she married Dale F. Olson Sr. in Waukegan, He preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1994.

Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law: Bonnie and John Anderson, Waupaca; Beth and Dale Schmidt, Berlin; Brenda and Casey Joyce, Cross Plains; Victoria and Keith Fischer. Kiel; a son and daughter-in-law Dale and Michelle Olson Jr., Manitowoc; 13 grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law: Irene and Wayne Hebel, Waupaca. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by a son: Dane Olson: a granddaughter: Ashley Anderson; three sisters: Dorothy Wilson; Mary (Bootsie) Howard; Bonnie Peterson; and a brother: Larry Cunningham.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2006, until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Daniel Felton.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family wishes to thank the Cancer Care Center at Holy Family, Dr. Baatz, Dr. Klassen, Dr. Rish, Dr. Benham and Holy Family Home Care. A special thank you to Sandy (Boutwell) Flynn for all her time and caring during Ruth's illness.
