Linda S. Moore, 37, of Spencer, died Wednesday, April 20, 1988 in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, after an extended illness.
She was born at Canton, Ohio, a daughter of Paul Weekley of Knoxville, Tenn., and Wilma Truman Boggs of Spencer. She was an employee of Spencer State Hospital and a member of the Oka Community Church, Calhoun County.
Besides her parents, she is survived by two sons, Michael Allen Mays and Jeremy Lee Moore, Both of Spencer; three brothers, Junior Boggs of Sarasota, Fla., Carl Dean Boggs of Bradenton, Fla., and Fred Weekley of Knoxville, Tenn.; five sisters, Barbara Ann Bowles of Nokomis, Fla.; Beverly Nicely and Paula Haynes, both of Knoxville, Tenn., Brinda Lou Wright of Spencer, Sharon Kay Boggs of Romney; two grandmothers, Ruby Truman of Spencer and Lear Weekley of Akron, Ohio; and her stepmother, Sandy Weekley of Knoxville.
Services were held Saturday, 1 p. m. at the Oka Community Church with the Rev. Lester Walker officiating. Burial was in the Cottrell Cemetery, Oka.
Sinnett Funeral Home, Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
She is the granddaughter of Greely and Ruby [Simons] Truman also buried at Cottrell Cem.
