Dr. Kenneth W. Leinweber, 80, of Palmyra, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 in his home.
Funeral Services will be at 12:00 PM Friday, July 26, 2019 at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO.Rev. Roger Ricketts and Kim Sutter will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra, MO.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, July 26th,at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel.

Dr. Leinweber was born November 22, 1938, in San Jose', IL to Paul Franklin Leinweber and Florence Evelyn Shipp Leinweber.

Kenneth was married to Carol Ann McComber on June 25th, 1961 in Davenport IA. She preceded him in death on March 8th, 1998.
Survivors include two daughters; Valerie (Jeff) Dornberger of Palmyra, MO, and Vonette (Kim) Sutter of Taylor, MO; four grandchildren; Alex (Dustin) McIntosh, Austen (Loren) Dornberger of Palmyra, MO, Wade Sutter and Bennett Sutter of Taylor, MO; one great grandchild, Cecily June McIntosh of Palmyra, MO; one brother, Russell (Stella) Leinweber of Mason City, IL; one sister, Arleta (Bill) Lynn of Davenport, IA.; and several beloved Nieces and Nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Son, Bryan P. Leinweber, brothers; Stanley Leinweber, Dr. Robert Leinweber, and Clifford Leinweber and his wife Connie.

Dr. Leinweber was a 1956 graduate of Easton, IL High School and went on to become a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1962. He then served the community of Palmyra, MO, as a Chiropractor, for 48 years until his retirement.

In his personal time his hobbies and interests included gathering with his family, gardening, model railroading, traveling, old farm equipment, and working in his shop.
As a member of the Palmyra Jaycees he was one of the founding members of The Flower City Park. He was a member of the North River Old Iron Club, Heritage Seekers, and helped with the Old Marion County Jail Restoration Project.

Memorials may be given to your choice of The Flower City Park, First Presbyterian Church, or the Marion County Jail Restoration Project.
