Phyllis J. Kline, 84 years, of Fullerton, Whitehall Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday morning, March 4, 2013, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, with her loving and devoted family by her side. Born in Fullerton to the late John A. and Eva M. (Scheirer) Dresher, she was the wife of Abner F. Kline for 22 years at the time of his passing on November 13, 1972. She was a 1947 graduate of Whitehall High School, and retired from BonTon. Earlier in life she worked for Hesss, Lehigh Candy & Tobacco, and PP&L.
Survivors: Daughter, Marietta L. Kline of Whitehall; son, Dennis J. Kline and his wife, Evelyn (Helfrich), of Millsboro, DE; grandchildren, Nicholas Kline and his wife, Amy, and Jennifer Vargo and her husband, Anthony; great-grandchildren, Makayla and Kelley Kline and Jayden Vargo; along with her extended family at Lehigh Center.
Services: 11 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013, in the Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, PA 18052, located one block south of the Fullerton Ave. exit of Route 22, with Rev. John A. Hart officiating. Her viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall.
