SHINNSTON — Amanda Rosilee Heater Starkey, 31, of Hughes Camp passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 as a result of an ATV accident.
She was born, December 24, 1987 in Clarksburg.
She is survived by her parents, Roger David Heater II and Jennifer Elaine Leggett; as well as her stepfather, Joe Sendling. Also surviving are her children, Audrie, Victoria and J.C. Starkey and her companion, Charles Roach; her stepchildren, Myrtle Copen and C.J. Roach; her siblings, Joshua Leggett, Isabella Sendling, Jasmine Heater, Debra Heater and Dylynn Heater; her grandparents, Edward and Patsy Leggett and Steve and Sandy Sendling; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two aunts, Deborah Marks and Bessie Wolfe and grandparents, Charles and Nancy Drain.
Amanda was employed by Gabriel Brothers and worked at the company warehouse in Hepzibah. She also worked at the Meadowbrook Mall as seasonal cast member at World-Wide Photography. She enjoyed her family, camping, and riding ATVs. Amanda loved animals of all kinds. Most of all she loved her children.
The family will receive friends at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Friday from 2-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. with her aunt and uncle, Pastors Shelia and John Napier officiating. Interment will follow at the Robinson Cemetery in Wallace.
