Fred McKendry Dotson, Jr., (Ken) 64 of Remington, VA., died of cancer on Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Fauquier Hospital.Ken proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a printer by trade and was considered one of the top 10 most talented printers on the east coast. He also enjoyed hunting; was a great Mr. Mom while helping to raise his son and he attended the Culpeper United Methodist Church.Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Emma Jean Dotson, Sr.; a sister, Karen Jean Osborne and his brother, Rodney L. Dotson.He is survived by his wife of 39 years; his son and fiance' both of Virginia; a brother and wife of Florida; a sister-in-law of WV; a nephew and wife of Florida, a nephew and niece both of WV; a great niece and great nephew both of FL. He also leaves behind his best friend.A graveside service will be held at Quantico National Cemetery on Wednesday July 31, 2019 starting at 12 noon.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Ken's name be made to the 22UntilNone organization at 18402 N. 19th Avenue, Box 370, Phoenix, AZ 85023 or by visiting their website www.22UntilNone.org(Obituary used with permission of immediate family)
