Mrs. Viola Karl, 90, of 2405 Washington St., Two Rivers, died Friday afternoon, December 12, 1986 at Arlington Heights, Illinois. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Donald Becker, a nephew will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Karl was born December 17, 1895 at Two Rivers, daughter of the late John and Catherine Petri Simonis. She attended St. Luke Parochial School and was married to Peter Karl Sr., June 24, 1929 at Two Rivers. He preceded her in death August 23, 1985. Mrs. Karl was a member of Ladies of St. Luke.
Survivors include twin sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and jean of Pinton Falls, New Jersey and Roger and Mary Ann of Palatine, Illinois; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Roy Giomi of Walnut Creek, California and 12 grandchildren. Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by a son, Peter Jr., in 1964, five brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, 5 pm to 8 pm Sunday, where a memorial service will be 7 pm.
