Was Carpenter in Elkhorn 40 Years
Charles B. Chase, 75 a resident of Fremont five years, died Thursday night at a local hospital following a lingering illness.

Prior to moving to Fremont, Chase had been a resident of Elkhorn. He worked as a carpenter there for 40 years. He has been retired since living here.

Surviving are his wife, Alice, and six children, Frank, of Omaha; Max, of Laramie, Wyo.; John, of Laramie, Wyo.; Mrs. Georgie Simmons, of Oakdale; Mrs. Rose Krieb, of Lynch; and Mrs. A. Petersen, Council Bluffs.

Funeral services will be announced later.
Drafahl and Regan Funeral home in charge.

Funeral services for Charles B. Chase will be held at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Drafahl-Regan Funeral home. Dean J. T. Walker of St. James Episcopal church will officiate. Burial will be made at Elkhorn.
