Along with Charles, her loving husband of 63 years, Betty is survived by their five children, Penny (Mick) Crabtree of Nappanee, IN, Arlene (Jr.) Hensley of Terre Haute, IN, Charles (Debbie) Kring, Jr. of LaPaz, Cory (Angela) Kring of Plymouth, and Michael (Patricia) Kring of Kansas; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one sister, Patricia Harder of Tampa, FL. Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her two brothers, James and Frank Ewing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville. Pastor Rose Woodke and Pastor Denny Soule will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home, as well as, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
