He was a life member SW Conservation Club, American Legion Post #296, former Scout Master, UAW Union President and also taught Research & Development at Indiana Technical College and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Virginia K. Brown of Fort Wayne; son, Jeffrey T. (wife Mary Jane) Brown of Fort Wayne; 3 grandchildren, Ashleigh Brown, Leslie & Eric Bodie; 8 nephews & 2 nieces; preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Ada Brown; 1 brother & 1 sister.
