Ann King Rosa, age 92 of Nashville, died July 23, 2019. She was born on Easter Sunday, April 17, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents George Adam King and Mary Turner Searight King, her brother Adam Loyd King and her husband Michael Richard Rosa, Sr.
She is survived by four children, her son Michael Richard Rosa, Jr. and daughters Lisa Rosa Sargent (Craig), Regina Rosa Rubin (Mark), and Marianne Rosa Whitaker (Patton); and grandchildren Leo Rubin, Marian Rubin, and Christian Sargent.
Ann received her education at Hillsboro High School and Ward-Belmont College, after which she was employed at National Life and Accident Insurance Co. until her marriage. Later she worked for Rich-Schwartz where she became the bridal consultant after which she and her daughters opened their own bridal shop, Ann Rosa Bridal, in Green Hills.
In addition to her love for her children and grandchildren and the bridal business, Ann enjoyed traveling abroad and did so extensively.
Funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Henry Catholic Church (Chapel). Burial will follow at the columbarium at Calvary Cemetery.
