Armond Robert Fitzsimmons, age 93 of Overland, Missouri, passed peacefully on Monday, July 29, 2019. He was born on Sunday, May 9, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri, one of six children born to Lawrence and Lillie (nee Schaub) Fitzsimmons.

Armond was the beloved husband for 60 years of the late Nelda L. Fitzsimmons (nee Sedlacek);

Armond honorably served our country in the US Army 15th Combat Engineer Battalion of the 9th Infantry Division during World War II. He was a career Union Master Carpenter and a retired member of the AFLCIO Local 185. Prior to Nelda's passing, he enjoyed traveling with her on the trips that she planned.

Services were held on Monday, August 5, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri for his burial with Military Honors.
