Sunday afternoon, at his home in Madison township, occurred the death of Gabriel Adams, aged eighty years and three months old. The deceased had been in good health until but a short time before his death. He was born in Yidikin county, North Carolina in 1833, came to Madison township in 1867 and has resided on his present farm since 1871 and the widow with six sons and three daughters survive him. The funeral services will be held at the Woodland M.E. church, Tuesday afternoon, burial in the Monroeville I.O.O.F. cemetery.
