(1926 - 2017)

Pauline G. Kolodzik, age 90, of Chilton, formerly of New Holstein, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2017, at Century Ridge Assisted Living.

She was born August 21, 1926, in Manitowoc; daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Marshek) Vande Castle. Pauline attended Holy Innocents Catholic Grade School and graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1944. She married John B. Kolodzik on July 24, 1948, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Manitowoc. They raised their family in New Holstein, WI. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for some time but retired in 1988. She enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing, and doing crossword puzzles. She volunteered many hours sewing for the residents at the Calumet Homestead. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the New Holstein American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her three daughters, Joanne Kolodzik, Nancy (Tom) Reinl, Karen (Ron) Deffner; one son, Michael (Susan) Kolodzik; her granddaughter, Maria (Jesse) Byrge: two great-granddaughters, Haley and Taylor Byrge; and a step-great-grandson, Nick Schneider. She is further survived by her sister, Lucille Bergner; brother-in-law, William Kolodzik; sister-in-law, Mary Kolodzik; and many other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John; one grandson, Timothy Reinl; four sisters; four brothers; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 1, 2017, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street New Holstein, WI 53061.

Visitation: Family and friends may call at the church Monday morning, May 1st, from 10:00 AM until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her name.
