Anthony M. DiDia, 58, of Toms River passed away Friday, July 26, 2019. Anthony was a Technical Writer for Skillpath Engineering of South Plainfield, NJ. Since childhood, Anthony has always had a love for music. He carried his passion for music throughout his life. From his early childhood commitment to piano, enthusiastic participation in the Howell High School chorus and band, and his devotion to the theatre, the arts were always an essential part of his life. He was a member and musician for the New Jersey Community Theater for over 30 years. As an exceptional singer, performer, and musical director, his passion for music was an inspiration to the lives of those he touched. His kind soul, incredible passion and love of music and incredibly delicious pignoli cookies will be missed by all.

Anthony was pre-deceased by his parents, Baldassare and Marinda DiDia and his brother, Salvatore DiDia and his first life partner Richard Magiers 2001.

Anthony is survived by his husband John Czekaj of 18 years; son Joseph DiDia and his wife Ashley; sister Sharon Iorio and her husband Stephen; sister-in-law Dolores DiDia; grandchildren, Lucas and Lucy; his Aunt Anna Carom; nephews, Matthew, Salvatore, Christopher, Michael, his niece Meghan, numerous cousins, and Cinnamon his cat.

Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a funeral service offered at 7:30 pm.

Cremation will be private.
