NOTE; There is another memorial for William H. MIkel in the La Plata cemetery, La Plata. Macon County, Missouri. The attached death certificate says he is buried in Steelville Cemetery while cemetery records compiled in 1999 show him buried in the La Plata cemetery. There is a possibility that he was originally buried in the Steelville Cemetery and later moved to La Plata but this has not been proven one way or the other.
