Gerald E. Clark, 88, 320 N. 8th St., Allentown, died Saturday at the Allentown Hospital, where he had been admitted Feb. 25. Clark had been ill for several years.
He was a fireman for the Central Railroad of New Jersey some years ago. Most recently employment was with American Housing, Kearny, N.J.
Born in Mountain Top, Luzerne County, he was a son of the late Rev. Charles D. And Susan S. (Lutsey) Clark. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Allentown.
Surviving are a brother, Clyde, West Pittston; a nephew, Charles W. Clark, whom Clark and his wife reared, and with whom he resided, and several other nephews and nieces.
Clark was predeceased by his wife, the former Nellie Worman, and two sisters.
Private funeral will be at Noon Monday in the Trexler Funeral Home, 116 S. 8th St. There will be no calling hours.
