HOWARD C. BORGWARDT

Howard C. Borgwardt, age 76, of 1121 S. 36th St., Manitowoc, died on Friday, Aug. 22, 2003 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

Private family memorial services were held on Monday, Aug. 25, 2003 at the Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The Rev. Robert Kujawski officiated with cremation taking place.

Howard was born Dec. 6, 1926 in Manitowoc, son of the late Alfred and Erna Fischer Borgwardt. On May 29, 1948, he was married to the former Betty Immel at Fond du Lac. Howard was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his loving wife: Betty of Manitowoc; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Terry (Julie) Borgwardt of Dubuque, Iowa; Randall Borgwardt of Manitowoc; Brett (Josie) Borgwardt of Sheboygan; two daughters and sons-in-law: Linda Borgwardt and William Ciesinski of Whitewater; Diane Borgwardt and Arthur Pierce of Ettrick, Wis.; nine grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren: Christian, Tyler, Meghan, Kristin, Laura, Jenna, Jared, Jordon and Taylor Borgwardt; and Sarah and Sam Pierce; one sister and brother-in-law: Shirley (Howard) Schmill of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.

The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory of Manitowoc is serving the Borgwardt family.
