DONALD R. CARNICOM

Donald R. Carnicom, 83, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday December 30, 1999 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 4, 2000 at St. John United Church of Christ, 1501 Marshall Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Robert Meyer, pastor, will officiate.

Donald was born August 16, 1946 at Glenford, Ohio, son of the late Herbert R. & Evelyn V. Orr Carnicom. He grew up and was educated in Ohio and married June Tucker Mueller May 25, 1974 at Milwaukee. They celebrated 25 plus years of marriage together. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. Donald enjoyed his children, grandchildren and was a coin collector, an avid golfer, fisherman, and bowler and for a time taught children how to bowl.

Survived by his wife, June of Manitowoc; children include: Carol (Rex) Fannin, Crivitz; Robert Carnicom, Waconia, MN; Donna Harley, Waconia, MN; Lorance Mueller, Milwaukee; Harvey (Nan) Mueller, Shawano, WI; Enola (Dennis) Klingbeil, Manitowoc; Russell Mueller, Milwaukee; 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, a son Glen Mueller, a brother Richard Carnicom, a sister Irene Bellows and two grandchildren preceded him in death.

Relatives and friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. John United Church of Christ, 1501 Marshall Street, Manitowoc to the time of service at 12:00 noon.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society Manitowoc County Unit would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
