FRED A. COOK
The funeral of Fred A. Cook, 65, ex-auto dealer here, will be at 2:30 pm, Wednesday at Finley's. Burial will be at Rose City cemetery. Mr. Cook died Saturday at his home, 1960 N.W. Lovejoy street. A native of Austria, he came to Portland as a boy and had lived here more than 50 years. He attended schools in Portland and later opened a machine shop where he became interested in automobiles. He was president of Cook & Lyons, the Portland Graham-Paige agency. His retirement several years ago was forced by a heart ailment.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Anna M. Cook; two sons, Roger I. Cook, Santa Monica, Cal., and Fred Cook Jr. of Hillsboro; four sisters, Mrs. Gussie Belland, Vancouver; Mrs. Mary Heerdt, San Francisco; Mrs. Catherine Blaesing, and Mrs. Alma Boquist, both of Portland; and a brother Carl Cook, Portland.
