He was a plumber by trade, and worked in natural gas transmissions as a foreman at Prusa in Mentor. Grant loved to hunt and fish; was a great outdoorsman who enjoyed 4 wheeling, snowmobiling and basically anything you could think of that a “redneck” would do. Following in his father’s footsteps, plumbing was Grant’s life! He was blunt, honest, had no filter, loved to swear, and was one of the most loving guys you could ever meet. He loved his grandchildren dearly and would even call off work to go “Vroom Vroom” with them. Grant loved going to concerts with his son Seth and gambling with wife Annie.
He is survived by his wife, Annie; children, Seth Boggs, Cody (Ashley Morris) Brewster, Miranda Boggs, Megan Boggs, Holly (Steven) Yoe; grandchildren, Hayden Brewster, Charlene Yoe, Josephine Yoe and Maxine Yoe; parents, Noel and Lois Boggs; sister, Rebecca (Scott) Anderson; brothers, Timothy (Bridget) Boggs and Noel (Crystal) Boggs, Jr; and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Boggs.
Friends will be received 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, OH. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery.
